I grew up hiking, horseback riding and herding cattle in the ranchlands of Western Marin County in Northern California.

My life-long fascination with the world of nature and the importance of conservation and preservation defines my relationship with the natural world around me.

From the brown, oak-studded hills of Northern California to the verdant hills of Northwestern Connecticut,  the flora and fauna, the architecture, the people, each have a story to tell.

Capturing the living landscape of these regions through imagery seems essential in honoring their rich legacies.
